Cover of the Book

Seeing the cover of the book should not affect if you buy it or not. People all over the world judge a

book by how it look from its outside. Seeing it from the outside, makes your first impression of the book, but

you  shouldn´t stay with the first expression and actually take a look at it form inside. Inside of a book is what

really matters.

Honestly I do judge a book by its cover and i buy the book depending on how it looks from the outside.

Difference Between The Movie and The Book "Lord of the Flies"

The Lord of the Flies the movie by Harry Hook and the book by William Golding shows many differences. In the movie the pilot stays a while in the island. Another difference is that in the movie the boys were American and not British. In the book they show the littlun´s death and in the movie they don´t.
One of the many differences is that in the book, William Golding decided that the pilot would not be shown alive. In the movie, Harry Hook, keeps the pilot alive just making us enable to see Golding’s point of view. The reason why this makes a difference is because in the book they need a chief because they need a figure like grownup to guide them and tell them what to do.
In the movie the boys were American and they came from the same school and in the book they were from different schools and they were from England. This makes a difference because in the movie Jack and Ralph show how they are friends at the beginning because they are from the same school. Choosing the chief in the movie is easier because Ralph was the Coronel (highest position.) In the book they are from different schools and this make it harder for both to get along. It makes it harder to get along because Jack and Ralph both want to be chief.
Another difference between the movie and the book Lord of The Flies is that in the book one of the littluns dies in the big flames of the fire made by the members on the island and in the movie they don´t show the death. Harry Hook decided not to incorporate this is because it introduces the first death of a member in the island. It shows the lack of order, and the need of a grownup.
A movie and a book are different in many ways; these alterations make a big impact on the conclusion of the story. Seeing the movie and reading the book, made me realize the importance of the chances that Harry Hook and William Golding made. My opinion about the book is that it was well planned and the ideas were arranged in a good way. Although the movie I think is missing some detail in order to make the film make sense.

You Can´t Have It All

But you can have your room as silent as the evening and dark like the immense galaxy in outer space.
You can have your mom waking you up in middle of the night, just when your dream is getting to the fun part saying, “Andres, we need to go.”
You can have a good morning with the sweet smell of fresh pancakes and the aromatic scent of a coffee.
You can have an education, being able to study each day like monkey being able to climb each day.
You can have a house, the confortable sofas and the welcoming smile from each member of your family.
You can have a pet, who helps you when you need them, and cheer you up when you´re down.
You can have a pleasant day, with the people you love the most, and enjoying the places you go to.
You can´t guess the word you need in an exam, worried, thinking, like a lion trying to find the right pray.
You can´t count on a friend to help you with a relationship, you need to learn how to do it yourself, you need to be the sun, alone, no one helping him with anything.
There´s things in life you can count on, but there things that you need to do them by yourself. It’s your birthday and you want a bike, your mother hates bikes so she says “You can´t have it all son, deal with it.”

Jasper Yellow Benjamin Moore 2024-50

 Sleeping,
Enjoying,
The room was silent,
Until,
The radiant light started
Coming in,
It was her,
Once again.

She looks at me,
Like a lemur,
fragile,
Big eyes,
And a majestic smile.

She is the sun,
Glowing,
And remaining always
On my mind.

The fragrant smell of her
Body,
Reminds me of
The beautiful sky.

Her hair,
Is like the rays of the sun,
Long,
Shiny,
and  tangled in my fingers.

Jasper Yellow,
Bright stars,
Gleaming constantly
On my mind.
